Amelia Arya
Amelia Arya, a student at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School, is the visionary founder of Parachute, an organization. Her goal is to make learning enjoyable and show students its importance. With her strong leadership, Amelia has created a dedicated team to help her achieve this mission. She wants to help students worldwide discover their passions and enhance global education. Amelia's selfless dedication truly shines through in her commitment to this cause.

Co-Founder | Acts of Kindness Volunteer
Leili Arya
Leili Arya is the Co-Founder of Parachute. She adores the idea of teaching children around the world about school topics, as well as unique topics that aren’t available in most schools. She believes that our team is known to be very hardworking and is very eager to work with your children!

Head of Course Management
Owen Wang
Owen has been teaching since he was a young kid. Whether it be friends, or programming classes, he loves doing it. He has taught multiple courses in various computer programming languages and tutored friends in various subjects. In addition to teaching, he also has extensive experience managing multiple teams and organizations. In his free time, Owen loves to work on tech for theater and music performances.

Alisha Raiker
Alisha Raiker is a student at Acton Boxborough Regional High School and is passionate about subjects in the science field, including Chemistry and Biology. Alisha is truly passionate about the amazing work Parachute is doing for students around the globe. Additionally, she believes that it’s an amazing experience tutoring students in subjects she is passionate about. From Alisha's personal experience, she understands just how valuable extra support can be for a student.

English & Writing Teacher
Wren Pexa
Wren is a senior who is passionate about all things humanities but has a special interest in languages. She is proficient in English, Ancient Greek, Latin, and Dakota, and is set to learn Italian next. She loves working collaboratively and has been teaching English and Writing to families in Slovakia and Ukraine through Parachute Learn. Wren loves working with kids and would be happy to work with yours.

English & Writing Teacher
Emma Johnson
Emma loves English and Writing, and recently has been taking college level courses to continue to improve! Both of her parents were English majors in college so it’s possible a love for language arts is genetic! She loves working with kids, and has volunteered at various summer camps.

Biology Teacher
Soorya Soorej
Soorya has always been passionate about biology and its many wonders. She is dedicated to spreading her love for biology to other students, believing that more people are needed in STEM fields. With experience tutoring students in various subjects, including math and sciences, she is well-equipped to inspire and educate others. Soorya is open-minded and eager to learn new things, firmly believing that children are the future and that Parachute will help them achieve their potential. In her free time, you can find her binge-watching shows or dancing.

Kaylin Palmer
Kaylin is a dedicated and enthusiastic volunteer at Parachute. With a strong passion for community service and a commitment to making a positive impact. Kaylin has experience in many fields that require working actively with children and brings fresh perspectives to our team. Her reliability makes her a valuable asset to our community.

Acts of Kindness Teacher & Volunteer
Layli White
Layli White is a current junior who believes in the power of gratitude and is determined to help children work towards acquiring virtues. Along with her work for Parachute Learn she also teaches her own kindness/virtue based class with the local children in her community. She is excited about the goals and aspirations Parachute Learn has, and is enthusiastic about helping children grow!
